From 22 to 24 April 2026, EURAC and POLITO represented the MODERATE project at the 2nd Expert Meeting of IEA EBC Annex 96 – Grid Integrated Control of Buildings, held in Turin alongside the MODERATE Final Conference. The event brought together international experts working on building energy flexibility and smart grid integration to exchange knowledge, methodologies, and research developments.
During the meeting, selected MODERATE partners presented the project’s work on data sharing approaches and building characterisation methodologies, highlighting their relevance for energy flexibility and building-to-grid interactions. The participation provided an important opportunity to disseminate MODERATE results to a specialised audience and to strengthen collaboration with the wider international research community engaged in grid-integrated building control solutions.
