Brussels, Belgium – 28 May 2026
The MODERATE consortium gathered in Brussels for the project’s 9th and final General Assembly (GEAS IX), marking an important milestone as the project approaches the conclusion of four years of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge exchange.
Hosted by REHVA at the Maison des Associations Internationales, the meeting brought together consortium partners to review the project’s final achievements, discuss lessons learned, and prepare for the upcoming review meeting scheduled for June 2026.
Throughout the day, Work Package leaders presented the latest developments and outcomes across several core project areas, including platform development and analytics services, data collection and interoperability, demonstration activities, early adoption experiences, and dissemination and exploitation strategies.
The discussions also focused on several cross-cutting themes that have been central to the project’s progress, such as:
- Data sharing and synthetic data approaches
- Aligning platform architecture with user and stakeholder needs
- Lessons learned from early adoption and operational readiness
In addition to the technical sessions, consortium partners exchanged views on future exploitation pathways, intellectual property governance, opportunities for continued collaboration, and the long-term sustainability of the MODERATE platform beyond the project duration.
The meeting highlighted the strong cooperation established among partners throughout the project and reinforced the shared commitment to advancing digital and data-driven solutions for the built environment.
The MODERATE consortium would like to thank all partners for their dedication, expertise, and collaborative spirit during the past four years.
