The MODERATE consortium gathered in Valencia for the 7th General Assembly (GEAS VII), hosted by the Instituto Valenciano de la EdificaciĂłn (IVE). The two-day meeting brought together project partners from across Europe to review progress, collaborate on technical developments, and coordinate the next phases of the project.
The agenda was packed with interactive sessions and strategic discussions across all Work Packages. Highlights included:
🔹 A hands-on workshop on the platform’s data-sharing features (WP2)
🔹 Updates on data collection, analytics tools, and project impact assessments (WP3–WP6)
🔹 Presentations of scientific papers contributing to the state of the art
🔹 Key sessions on exploitation, communication, and dissemination (WP7–WP8)
🔹 A cross-WP integration workshop to enhance synergies across technical components
The event also featured a vibrant team-building bike tour through Valencia and a well-attended project dinner, fostering informal exchanges and strengthening collaboration across teams.
As the MODERATE project enters its next phase, the momentum gained in Valencia ensures that all partners are aligned and committed to achieving the project’s ambitious goals: improving access to high-quality building data and enabling smarter, more efficient energy renovations across Europe.
