The Energy Efficient Building group at Eurac Research, alongside Politecnico di Torino, has unveiled brickllm, an innovative Python library leveraging large language models (LLMs) and the Brick ontology for building metadata. This tool simplifies the labor-intensive task of creating semantic models for energy and building management, bridging gaps between IT experts and energy professionals.
Version 1.3 also includes a user-friendly web app. Both tools are open source and available on PyPI and GitHub. Interested collaborators are invited to join this groundbreaking initiative.
